If you’re leading worship or tech in a church of 350 or fewer, you already know the reality: the pressure is real, the timeline is weekly, and the team is often volunteer-powered. You don’t have time for vague advice, theory, or “someday” upgrades. You need a path that makes this weekend better—and builds a sustainable ministry long-term.
That’s where I come in.
I’m an audio, video, and systems engineer with 30+ years behind the scenes in production environments that don’t forgive mistakes—network television, live events, recording, post-production, and broadcast/streaming. I’ve worked in both secular and Christian contexts, from intimate venues to high-expectation productions. That range matters because most church production challenges aren’t just “audio” or “video”—they’re systems, workflows, people, and consistency under time constraints.
Most churches assume production improves when they buy better gear. Gear helps, but clarity and consistency come from a system—and a team that knows how to run it.
Here’s what I help churches build:
Audio clarity that serves worship (intelligibility, musical impact, consistency week to week)
Video and streaming workflows that don’t rely on one “hero” volunteer
Systems that are reliable and easy to troubleshoot
Volunteer training that creates confident operators, not button-pushers
Leadership habits that reduce burnout and strengthen team culture
My approach is people-first and ministry-aware. I understand the reality you’re living in: rotating volunteers, limited rehearsal time, competing responsibilities, and the weekly “Sunday is coming” sprint. The training I provide is designed for your world—simple, repeatable, and immediately usable, with clear standards your team can rally around.
Over the years, I’ve built, led, and trained teams across every level of ministry production—from small volunteer crews to broadcast-quality campuses. Now I bring that same skill set to churches that don’t have massive staff or endless budgets, but still want excellence that feels calm, confident, and spiritually grounded.
This isn’t about perfectionism. It’s about removing friction so your team can focus on what matters: serving people well, supporting worship, and building a healthy culture.
If you’re a worship leader or tech leader (especially in that 27–40 season of life where you’re carrying a lot and trying to build something that lasts), my goal is straightforward:
Make weekends feel easier. Make teams feel stronger. Make ministry feel sustainable.
We’ll cover:
what’s currently making weekends stressful
where your systems and training are leaking confidence
the next best steps to build a thriving, sustainable tech ministry
Decades of real-world church experience — I’ve served through multiple leadership transitions, designed countless AV systems, and grown volunteer teams from 3 to over 30 members. I know what healthy, sustainable ministry tech looks like.
A hands-on mentor’s approach — I don’t just tell teams what to do; I help them understand why, giving them the confidence to own their systems and make smart decisions long after training ends.
Custom coaching plans — Every church is unique. I tailor my training to your space, your volunteers, and your worship style—whether that means live mix training, workflow design, or leadership development for your tech leads.
Ministry-minded leadership — My goal isn’t just technical excellence—it’s to help your tech ministry support the message and heart of your worship.

Grew the tech volunteer team from 7 to 31, built onboarding and training systems, and oversaw all AV upgrades while mentoring new leaders to sustain excellence.
Expanded the volunteer team from 5 to 20, developed training systems, and managed large-scale AV installations—balancing ministry vision with technical execution.
Scaled a small team of 3 volunteers to 30, to cover tech for five weekend services, implementing repeatable systems and training paths that kept volunteers confident and engaged.
